Small Biz Week West Michigan is built by our event hosts. Your organization can showcase your expertise by hosting a Small Biz Week event. The application period is open until Friday, March 20, 2026, or we'd love to meet with you to talk about your event ideas. The event submission deadline is Sunday, March 15th. To ensure the best promotion/turnout, we recommend submitting early.
Not always. Many SBW events are free or low-cost. If your event includes a registration fee, please clearly note the price and what’s included.
Yes. Hosts are responsible for: • Setting up and managing registration • Communicating event details to attendees • Managing capacity limits and waitlists (if applicable)
Yes! Virtual events are welcome during Small Biz Week and can be a great way to reach entrepreneurs across the region. Virtual hosts should: • Provide a clear registration link • Include the virtual platform details (Zoom/Teams/etc.) • Plan for basic facilitation (moderator, chat/Q&A support)
Yes! Co-hosted events are encouraged and often increase turnout.
Yes. Approved hosts will receive simple messaging guidelines and hashtags to ensure consistent SBW branding and visibility.
